I am looking into my options for straightening my teeth and am considering Invisalign. Can you tell me what the drawbacks are to this treatment?

There aren’t too many disadvantages to Invisalign invisible braces. In fact this treatment actually has one of the highest patient satisfaction ratings in the industry. Clear plastic aligners are used to straighten teeth in about half the time as conventional braces. They are removable so you can still eat and brush your teeth like you normally would, and no one can really see the aligners because they are virtually invisible.
As far as drawbacks go, Invisalign is more expensive than conventional wire and bracket braces. And although they are safe for most adults, they are not the recommended treatment for teenagers or children whose teeth may not be fully erupted.
Another cosmetic dentistry treatment that gives the appearance of straight, white teeth is porcelain veneers. Although veneers will not actually correct the position of your teeth, they can give you a beautiful smile.
